Why we do what we do.
I established Raul Rodriguez Law as an immigration law firm based in Central Florida. My practice is exclusively federal immigration law. I began my legal career at Barry University School of Law, where I obtained my Law Degree. While attending Barry University School of Law, I participated in the Immigration Clinic. I represented several clients with cases including asylum in removal proceedings, removal of conditions on residence based on domestic violence, and DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals). This experience cemented my desire to advocate on behalf of immigrants trying to make a better life for themselves and their families in the United States.
I have always been interested in immigration law because I come from a family of immigrants. My family immigrated to the United States from Cuba between 1961-1965. I know the challenges that they faced when they arrived to their new country. They were not familiar with the land, the immigration process, the way the government is run, and not able to understand English. I know the importance of having an attorney that you can trust to guide you through the immigration process.
